DC's on B Street

Although he does not hold a culinary degree, he has enjoyed cooking fine food most of his adult life. Spending years in New Orleans just fueled the thought of having a restaurant. During the years his family and he lived there, his daughter, Darci, used to baby-sit for a family - the husband was a cook in a local restaurant. That "cook" was Emeril Lagasee. At the time, he was the Executive Chef at Commander's Palace--New Orlean's' finest restaurant. The two men formed a friendship that grew over the years, as did dc's interest in cooking. In May 1999, he opened dc's on b street in the historic district in Pueblo. "From the start, we have been fortunate to have a great staff and a strong menu, dedicating outselves to excellence in service and detail. We have become a leader and a faorite destination for Pueblo diners as well as folks from out of town." Theer are two dining rooms in this award winning upscale restaurant. The original side, with its eclectic decor, is filled with old photos and antiques and features the original brick wall. The "Wine Bar" side has the feel of a cozy living room with winged back chairs, oriental rugs, and antique oak tables and chairs. Dc's is long known for exceptional lunches. Selections include pasta dishes, entree-sized salads, and unusual sandwiches. Evenings are delightful at dc's. Join them for dinner where entrees selections vary weekly or visit the Wine Bar where you can enjoy carefully selected wines, great appetizers and smaller entree selections while chatting with friends.
