The Steelworks Museum of Industry and Culture tells the 121 year history of the Colorado Fuel & Iron Company (CF&I). Exhibits cover coal and iron ore mining, steel production, labor relations and the ethnic groups that comprised the cultural identity of the company. Outside you can see the CF&I Mine Rescue Car No.1 (MRC), built in 1882. Take exit 97A, then left on Abriendo for 3 blocks.
